Industrial quality vacuum-forming, desktop size.

Mayku enables fast, cost-efficient 3D re-creation in your home or workplace. Their flagship machine is the FormBox, which enables the easy reproduction of 3D objects using the power of an everyday vacuum cleaner. And their upcoming machine, the Multiplier, promises to bring large scale pressure forming to the desktop.

Vacuum forming at the desktop

Mayku’s revolutionary FormBox brings you the ability to re-create shapes and form moulds in minutes with vacuum forming. This process involves:

  1. Designing and making the template.
  2. Setting up the FormBox.
  3. Heating the plastic.
  4. Using the vacuum on the warm plastic.
  5. Cooling the plastic and post-processing.

For just $1 per mould, the FormBox can make ultra-precise outlines of almost any object – whilst sitting comfortably on your desktop. It’s simple to use, too; software isn’t necessary. The Formbox is a quick and easy solution to the difficulties of manufacturing high quality moulds at home or in the workplace.

Why vacuum form?

  • Use bespoke templates or random objects to produce moulds at the desktop.
  • Quick production allows for rapid prototyping and increased output.
  • Plastic moulds are durable yet cheap to produce.
  • Iterate quickly, without leaving the office.
  • Create using food-safe materials, for use as packaging etc…

Founded in 2015 with a kickstarter campaign that garnered over 1,700 customers for their creation of the world’s first desktop-friendly vacuum former, Mayku’s innovations are loved by creators from numerous sectors like food production, arts & crafts, and education. Their mould-making machines are enjoyed by businesses and hobbyists alike.
