Form 3L and Form 3BL: A Complete Ecosystem for Large Part Production, Now With Automated Post-Processing
With today’s launch of the Formlabs automated large format post-processing machines, Form Wash L and Form Cure L, the Form 3L and Form 3BL ecosystems now streamline the 3D printing workflow to produce ready-to-use parts with minimal intervention. Form Wash L automates the removal of residual resin after printing while Form Cure L completes the curing process to help parts achieve peak mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy.
Lets have a closer look at the Form Wash L:
All SLA 3D printed parts require washing to remove residual resin. Form Wash L automates this process, leaving you with smooth, clean, high-quality parts every time.
Once washing completes, parts are lifted out of the solvent to air dry, avoiding over-soaked, warped prints. The embedded solvent monitor helps you maintain peak cleaning performance by notifying you when it’s time to replace your solvent.
Additional Features on the Form Wash L:
-
- Washing Guidlines included on UI
- Wash Count is tracked for each batch of fresh solvent
- Gasketed inner and outer lids
- Wifi for easier firmware updates
- Sound plays when wash and dry is complete
Now for a closer look at the Form Cure L:
Form Cure L uses two 500W heaters and high-powered UV lights alongside a reflective inner cavity and rotating turntable to provide a consistent, high-intensity cure.
Whether it’s for large prints or high throughput production of smaller parts, Form Cure L can be used with all of your Formlabs SLA 3D printers.
Additional Features:
-
- Front door blocks UV light and resists damage from resins/solvents
- Preheat cycle included to improve part properties
- Presets for all Formlabs resins
- Wifi for easier firmware updates
- Sound plays when curing is complete
