Additive-X are taking to the road for our first exhibition of 2022! We’ll be exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2022 in Farnborough at the International Exhibition Centre between the 8th and 10th of February.
We’ll have a selection of state-of-the-art desktop 3D printers on show, and our 3D printing specialists will be there to discuss how they can help your applications.
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics is an annual technology exhibition that brings together innovators, engineers, designers and manufacturers in industry. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network and meet experts in all areas of manufacturing, including tooling, production, assembly, packaging and more.

We will be representing the additive manufacturing side of industry with a selection of 3D printers. These 3D printers include:
3DGence printers are capable of printer PEEK, PEKK and ULTEM filaments, as well as PC and PA. Features dual-extrusion with swappable print modules to handle a wide range of materials.
Formlabs Form 3+ Complete Package the newest Formlabs Form 3+ printers print 20% – 40% faster than before, enabling same-day production for agile prototyping and production. The speed improvements are based on both hardware and software improvements, including a more precise laser and smoother motion for the light processing unit, creating a more efficient path for the laser system. As part of this package we will also have the Formlabs automated post processing tools Form Wash and Form Cure, together, these machines handle post-processing in a controlled way to bring out the best mechanical properties of parts.
Formlabs Form 3L– Formlabs’ large format printer utilises the same technology as the Form 3+ but amplifies production capability with a significantly larger build volume. Uses two Light Processing Units instead of one to maintain accuracy at volume.
Formlabs Fuse 1 A new wave of independent manufacturing and prototyping starts now with the Fuse 1. Bring production-ready nylon 3D printing onto your benchtop with an affordable, compact selective laser sintering (SLS) platform.
Markforged X7 an industrial FDM printer that can reinforce nylon with continuous strands of composite reinforcement. Supports nylon and Onyx as core build materials and reinforces parts with Kevlar, carbon fibre, fibreglass or HSHT fibreglass.
Markforged Metal X using Markforged’s Metal FFF technology, the Metal X makes metal 3D printing more accessible than ever before. It can print metal components with the same strength and density as cast or forged parts. Prints a wide range of metals, including H13 Tool Steel, Inconel 625 and 17-4 PH stainless steel.
Markforged Mark Two The Markforged desktop Mark Two is designed to give any designer and engineer access to stable onyx parts. Make strong industrial prints with continuous fibre reinforcement in Carbon Fibre, Kevlar or fibreglass as well as high-temp fibreglass.
Ultimaker S5 Pro-Bundle The Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle transforms your 3D printing workflow – with automatic material handling, efficient air filtering, and filament humidity control. Together, these features unlock 24/7 productivity and demanding applications with an extended range of materials.
Attend our talk
Kevin Askew, Additive-X’s Business Development Manager, will also hold a seminar session on the 8th (3pm) and 10th (1pm) on stand M310.
His seminar “Additive Manufacturing Landscape Prototype to End Use Parts”, will examine how to implement cost effective Additive Manufacturing, determining the right solution for your application and reducing the barriers to entry.
Kevin will discuss a new case study from our innovative customer Labman Automation who are developing and producing concepts previously unattainable in the manufacturing world. You will learn about time and cost savings achieved as well as further benefits beyond the item itself by replacing traditional manufactured parts for 3D printed equivalents.
Kevin will also cover valuable advice about how companies can implement 3D Printing in everyday workflows to create realistic proofs of concept, high-fidelity prototypes and end use parts.
