As you may be aware, we are running an event next week as part of the Formlabs Roadshow.
We’ve just secured a new speaker, Richard Beston who is the Managing Director of Ego, Carbon Collective and owner of Triple Six Studios. He has recently been featured in The Times, Eureka Magazine and on the Autodesk Blog talking about how he has used 3D printing to prototype a new type of tattoo machine.
Richard used the Form 2 to create his original prototype and he will talk about his story of developing his own product, despite not coming from an engineering background.
Above, On the left is the original prototype casing (top and bottom) made using Tough Resin, in the middle is the same complete prototype casing containing electronics and on the right is the final product.
