Join us in the first week of September for our UK launch of Markforged’s new Metal X, one of our most highly anticipated 3D printers. As well as having live demos of the Metal X, we will have sessions showing examples of where 3D printing can be applied in manufacturing, and an overview of the Metal X process. Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to get some free advice in our AM clinic.

We will be running this event across 3 days so that nobody has to miss out. See below for the agenda and more information on session 1 and session 2.

Session 1 will cover 3D printing with composites, featuring Markforged’s range of 3D printers.

Session 1: AM Solutions for Manufacturing Problems
Speaker: Kevin Askew, Business Development Manager and Markforged Specialist at GoPrint3D
Kevin will run through the typical issues that many manufacturers face, including examples, and how additive manufacturing can provide a cost-effective solution. Following on from that Kevin will give an overview of the Markforged printer range and some of its applications.

Session 2: How to achieve AM best practice in manufacturing
Speaker: Josh Best, Applications Engineer and Markforged Specialist at GoPrint3D
Josh will present an AM workflow covering design and redesign for 3D printing, taking in to account factors such as wall thickness, overhangs and material choice. His session will include a live demo of the Eiger software and an overview of the Metal X 3D printer.
