We’re excited to announce we’ll be attending the TCT Show again this year. TCT takes place each year in Birmingham, and is the UK’s leading design to manufacturing event, showcasing the latest technologies, techniques and machines in the industry.
Over the last 20 years, TCT Show has drawn massive crowds and this year’s show is set to draw the most impressive yet. We’ll be there from September 24th to the 26th at stand C80, which is one of the big stands on the main aisle next to the Ultimaker stand (see below).
What We’re Exhibiting
Pop down to see us and you’ll see the following machines on show:
HP Jet Fusion 500 Series – These printers won’t be running, but we’ll be there to explain how the full-colour 3D printing process works. We recently joined HP’s partnership program, enabling us to offer HP Multi Jet Fusion technology to our customers which we’re very excited about.
Markforged 3D printers – We’ll have Markforged’s metal 3D printer the Metal X being demo’d, as well as the X7 and Mark Two. These three industrial-grade 3D printers can replace and complement traditional metalworking processes on the factory floor. Print chains stronger than metal and much more!
Formlabs machines – We’ll have the brand new Form 3 on display, as well as the Form Cure and Form Wash so you can see the complete Low Force Stereolithography system.
Ultimaker 3D printers – We’ll have the Ultimaker S5 and Ultimaker 3, Ultimaker’s latest 3D printers for 2019, on demonstration. These are two of the best fused filament fabrication printers on the market, and especially so in the desktop-class. They’re used in most industries and are particularly popular for prototyping.
3DGence Industry F340 – The Industry F340 prints in a range of high-performance materials, including PEEK and Polycarbonate. This is one of the medical industry’s favourite FFF 3D printers, with applications in prosthetics and medical device manufacturing. It makes job setup simple with interchangeable modules for different materials.
Builder Extreme 1500 PRO – The Builder Extreme 1500 PRO is MASSIVE. It has a 700 x 700 x 820mm (XYZ) build volume and has recently been updated for 2019 with a 7″ touchscreen, filament detection and a UPS system for automated resume. It’s suitable for any application where large parts are needed.
3D Platform 300 Series Workbench Pro – The 300 Series Workbench Pro is another large-format 3D printer. It creates very high-quality parts and boasts a stonking a 1m x 1m x 0.7m (XYZ) build volume, which is one of the biggest on the market today.
Free Samples
We’ll have some giveaways available from the stand (while stocks last)! You have to be in it to win it, so make sure you visit our stand and talk to our team. The GoPrint3D stand will have our own passionate and knowledgeable experts on it ready to answer your questions and guide you in the right direction.
What Else Is Happening
We’ll be taking part in a number of announcements at TCT, so watch this space!
We’ve arranged for a Formula Student car to be on display on the main aisle, which was developed with the help of 3D printing. Formula Student is Europe’s most established educational engineering competition. We helped Leeds University student team manufacture a plenum for their car using the Markforged X7, which as we’ve mentioned will be on display too. You’ll be able to see the car in all its glory and see how 3D printing helped improve their performance.
Kevin Askew, our business development manager, will also be delivering his talk, “Additive Manufacturing with Continuous Strand Composites”, at the Composites UK forum: Additive Manufacturing for Composites.
Finally, our MD, Joanna Young, will be part of a panel called “Inspired Minds”. This is an enlightening manufacturing experience positioned to introduce school children to the world of 3D printing. It will take place over 3-hours and students will have the opportunity to participate in a 3D printing challenge and listen to exciting talks from industry experts.
