Join us at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2020

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics

If you or your company will be available between the 11th and 13th of February, we’ll be exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2020 in Farnborough at the International Exhibition Centre. We’ll have a selection of state-of-the-art desktop 3D printers on show, and our experts will be around to discuss them.

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics is an annual technology exhibition that brings together innovators, engineers, designers and manufacturers in industry. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network and meet experts in all areas of manufacturing, including tooling, production, assembly, packaging and more.

We will be representing the additive manufacturing side of industry with a selection of 3D printers. These 3D printers include:

3DGence INDUSTRY F420 – An FDM printer capable of printer PEEK, PEKK and ULTEM filaments, as well as PC and PA. Features dual-extrusion with swappable print modules to handle a wide range of materials.

Form 3 – Utilises Formlabs’ newest innovation, Low Force Stereolithography which significantly reduces the peel forces on parts. Enables light touch support structure and a higher level of detail than regular SLA.

Formlabs Form 3L – Utilises the same technology as the Form 3 but amplifies production capability with a significantly larger build volume. Uses two Light Processing Units instead of one to maintain accuracy at volume.

Markforged X7 – An FDM printer that can reinforce nylon with continuous strands of composite reinforcement. Supports nylon and Onyx as core build materials and reinforces parts with Kevlar, carbon fibre, fibreglass or HSHT fibreglass.

Markforged Metal X – An ADAM 3D printer that can print metal components with the same strength and density as cast or forged parts. Prints a wide range of metals, including H13 Tool Steel, Inconel 625 and 17-4 PH stainless steel.

In addition to exhibiting these exciting machines, Kevin Askew, GoPrint3D’s Business Development Manager, will also hold a talk on the 11th and 12th of Feb titled, “Additive Manufacturing Landscape Prototype to End Use Parts”, which, as the name suggests, will discuss 3D printing across the production line.
