We are delighted to announce we have partnered with Essentium Inc. to bring their range of large-format, industrial-grade 3D printers to our users.
Essentium is a manufacturer and innovator of industrial 3D printers and materials for the manufacturing sector, with key applications in automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, biomedical and oil and gas. Their 3D printers are one of a kind, powered by Essentium’s own High-Speed Extrusion (HSE) print technology.
HSE is an extrusion-based technology that can print at speeds greater than 500 m/s — 5 to 15x faster than conventional FFF 3D printers. The technology utilises a non-slip, high torque extrusion system and linear servo motors designed to smoothly move across more than one axis (in this case, the X and Y). There is also 3G acceleration and a 1 M/sec movement speed to eliminate wasted movement during the print process
We have become an official partner to Essentium in the United Kingdom so will be reselling their High-Speed Extrusion 3D printers.
These include the HSE 180-S LT, HSE 180-S and HSE 180-S HT. These 3D printer models share a common familiarity in their mechatronics, but they are engineered with different nozzle and bed setups to accommodate different types of material.
The HSE 180-S LT is designed to print low temp-materials only, while the HSE 180-S is designed to also accommodate standard-temp materials. The HSE 180-S HT is the range-topper with additional support for high-temp engineering-grade polymers.

All three 3D printers share the same enormous 740 x 510 x 650 mm build volume and are powered by industrial-grade motors and mechatronics. They are designed for a life on the manufacturing line with class-leading reliability.
